What 360° camera models are supported?
Encircle supports the following Ricoh THETA cameras: THETA X, THETA Z1, THETA V, THETA SC, and THETA S (firmware version 01.62 or later).
Is there an extra cost to use 360° photo capture in Encircle?
No extra cost—360° photo capture is included with your Encircle Field Documentation subscription. Just connect a compatible Ricoh THETA camera and you’re ready to start capturing. Storage, usage and sharing are all included.
How do I connect a 360° camera to Encircle?
Your Ricoh THETA camera has its own WiFi network. To connect, go to your phone’s WiFi settings and join that network. Once connected, the Encircle app will detect the camera and enable 360° photo capture automatically.

How can I review or share 360° photos in Encircle?
360° photos are included in reports and custom forms, just like standard photos. Each photo has a clickable external link to view it in full size. You can also download the original file to share, but keep in mind it's over 10MB and requires a 360° viewer to explore interactively.
